With so much free time on my hands, I find myself constantly strolling through the pages of ASOS and the new in site and adding items to my saved list.
I find myself being pickier with the things I buy these days. I ask myself, are these good investment pieces, will they go with everything else in my wardrobe and if yes is the answer to both, they end up in my bag. So you know everything in this list has been carefully curated and are pieces I would genuinely buy/ will probably buy. Let’s get to it, shall we.
I have absolutely no where to wear these right now but this doesn’t stop me continually adding and removing from my bag. These are the perfect honey colour, the perfect square toe and no back to them which is perfect because anything with straps tend to rub my feet. And I know would fit perfectly into my workwear wardrobe. They are the priciest item on my list at £49.99 but I feel like they are a good investment piece and I would get great use out of them in the future.
I love a blazer for a light jacket that you can throw on over an outfit to make it feel that little bit fancier and this one is only £39.99. I have only 2 blazers in my current wardrobe, one oversized and one fitted and I always opt for the oversized one. I feel this would be one I would get great use out of.
Pull & Bear is one of my favourite brands. The clothes are affordable and good quality. I have a couple of pairs of trousers and tops that are frequent staples in my wardrobe. This sweater has quite a few sizes left and is only £9.99.
I have this skirt in purple but from a few seasons ago and now really feel like I need it in pink too. It’s perfect for dress down but chic days and will be perfect for future days out when lockdown is over. So versatile and under £30. I would say from the one I currently have it doesn’t have a fastening and the waist hasn’t got much give (and it looks like this may be the same), so if you have big hips like I do, you may need to size up.
The perfect scarf for getting those unruly locks up or hiding those every growing roots hidden away whilst I await the hairdressers reopening and the pattern on this headscarf is everything.
One of my fave wardrobe staples is a faux leather number and I adore this skirt in everyones favourite spring shade, Ecru. Stradivarius is another brand that is affordable but also durable and this skirt is only £26.
I really love a smock for all occasions but lately I have been loving lounging around the house in cute but cosy smocks. I love the shade of this one and it’s perfect for spring and summer.
I’m obsessed with this colour and the ethereal vibe from this dress. I’ve really been opting for anything full length these days and this dress would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
I’m not sure if I’m drawn to this smock dress because the shoes the first item on this list or just because I’m obsessed with this fit. I’ve never been one for bright colours but I’ve definitely noticed a switch in being drawn to whites, creams or anything with a cool hue to it.
Lastly this jumpsuit is perfect for casual slouching around in, the cutest pattern and it is also from ASOS’ responsible edit so its made from renewable sources.
